Fantasy cricket on MasterWicket blends real-world match outcomes with strategic team selection. Every run, wicket, and catch impacts your score in real-time. Follow these game rules to maximize your success.
1. Team Drafting Rules
- You must select exactly 11 players using a budget of 100 credits.

Player distribution must follow format:
- 1–4 Wicketkeepers
- 3–6 Batsmen
- 1–4 All-rounders
- 3–6 Bowlers
- Maximum 7 players can be selected from a single real-world team.
- You must assign a Captain (earns ×2 points) and a Vice-Captain (earns ×1.5 points).
2. Scoring System
- +1 point per run scored
- +6 points per six hit
- +4 points per boundary (four)
- +10 points per wicket taken
- +5 points per catch or stumping
- +12 points for a 50-run innings bonus
- +20 points for a century bonus
- +15 points for a 4-wicket haul
- +25 points for a 5-wicket haul
- –2 points for each duck (for batsmen, excluding bowlers)
Points may vary slightly based on specific tournament formats — always check the "Tournament Rules" tab inside each contest before joining.
3. Contest Formats
Head-to-Head Duels
Two players battle it out — winner takes all based on highest fantasy points.
Classic Multi-Entry Tournaments
Larger pools with hundreds of participants and tiered prize structures.
Private Leagues
Invite friends or coworkers to your own custom contest with your own rules and rewards.
Daily Freerolls
Free-to-enter games with real cash prizes offered multiple times a day.
4. Important Notes
- Teams must be finalized before the official match lock-time. Late entries are not allowed.
- In case of match abandonment (e.g., rain-out), contests are voided and entry fees are refunded.
- If a selected player does not play, zero points are awarded for that player.
- Points updates are live but final points are settled after official match statistics are confirmed.
MasterWicket follows industry-standard fantasy scoring norms and reserves the right to amend rules for specific tournaments with prior notification.
